Who We Are
Lakshmi Commodities Inc. is a federally registered Canadian commodity trading company headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario. We are a dedicated pulse export house — focused exclusively on red lentils, green lentils, Kabuli chickpeas and yellow peas sourced from the Canadian Prairies and delivered to importers across South Asia and the Middle East.
We operate as a direct commercial counterpart to buyers — providing firm price indications, structured contracts, and clean export documentation from enquiry through to discharge port.
Our Sourcing Network
We work directly with CGC-licensed grain elevator operators and registered handlers across Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta — Canada's three primary pulse-producing provinces. This direct network gives us consistent access to well-graded supply across crop years, with full traceability from origin elevator to export container.
All product sourced by Lakshmi Commodities is graded to Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) standards — the internationally recognised benchmark for Canadian grain quality.
Export Compliance & Documentation
Every shipment is supported by:
- Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) official grade and weight certificate
- CFIA phytosanitary certificate
- Certificate of Origin
- Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List
Documentation is prepared to meet destination country import requirements including FSSAI (India), BSTI (Bangladesh) and UAE food import regulations. Third-party pre-shipment inspection by SGS or Intertek is available on request.
